I’m Karítas !
I am an Icelandic illustrator and a tattoo artist currently located and working in Iceland.
I am the co-owner of Feyrún Tattoo Studio. Located in Skipholt 17, 105 Reykjavík.
I started tattooing in 2021 and opened my own tattoo studio with my co-worker Dísa in autumn 2024.
My tattoo style is a mix of illustrative style, gothic, black work, fine line, watercolour and full colour.
I graduated with a BA degree in Illustration from Leeds Arts University in July 2019.
My favourite mediums for illustration work is:

✧digital (photoshop and procreate)
✧screen printing
My practice is largely influenced by witchcraft, mythological storytelling, feminism and the occult, all things mysterious and of course adorable cats.
-My style is very versatile and I’m good at adapting to new styles and mediums.
My comic F.R.E.A.K. won an award at Reykjavík Fringe Festival in 2020
